The provincial government presented this Tuesday, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, "Winter in Santa Fe", the proposal that invites visitors to get to know and enjoy the main tourist destinations in Santa Fe during the winter holidays.
During the presentation, which took place in the House of Santa Fe in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini, said: "Tourism is one of the engines of development of Santa Fe, as well as other productive chains. We have made two commitments: to give certainty to the productive world and that next year we will begin to think about a new Strategic Plan for the next 8 years".
"We are convinced that Santa Fe will be repositioned through tourism. We want all Santa Feans to get to know their province, all Argentinians to come and visit it and visitors from abroad. We are doing a great job. For this reason, a few days ago we announced a new direct connection Rosario-Lima, which will allow us three weekly flights and connects us to the world. Tourism is also turning on the tractor that will set the course for Argentina", concluded the minister.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Culture, Susana Rueda, pointed out that "culture and tourism always go hand in hand, because culture is an unmissable attraction", and listed "the wonderful things not to be missed: the Bucci Museum, the Santa Fe La Vieja Archaeological Park, the Puerto Gaboto Park; there is so much to see in Santa Fe".
For his part, the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, affirmed that "the province of Santa Fe has a unique infrastructure, having Rosario as a great beacon of attraction. I am delighted to join the challenge that Santa Fe has set itself as a goal, which is to turn the province into a great tourist attraction. Where there is tourism there is work", he remarked.
Santa Fe as a tourist destination
On the other hand, the Secretary of Tourism of Santa Fe, Marcela Aeberhard detailed: "We want to link the receptive agencies of our province with those of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. We understand that this private-private linkage will strengthen the tourism segment of Santa Fe. Our province is culture, history, nature, gastronomy and music. Today we want to recreate that experience so that they find in the destination of Santa Fe a proposal to experience".
Finally, the Undersecretary of Tourism of the Nation, Yanina Martinez stressed that "when there is tourism there are always benefits and positive impacts, not only from the economic point of view, but also from the social point of view. From our Secretariat, we have been working on development, promotion and training, which are the three pillars for tourism to be positive".
A proposal to be experienced
During the presentation of "Winter in Santa Fe", the main tourist corridors of Santa Fe and their attractions were detailed: Carcarañá River, Jaaukanigás National Park, the cities of Rosario and Santa Fe, Tierra Adentro, Rivers and Lagoons and El Camino de la Costa, which will play a prominent role in this winter's offer.
There was also a space for exchange and networking where the attendees enjoyed typical dishes and drinks from Santa Fe, prepared by the Rosario chef Cecilia Castagno and Martín Mazzuca from the Santa Fe Winter Beer and Gastronomy Festival, and enjoyed different artistic exhibitions.
The towns of Melincué, San Lorenzo, Desvío Arijón, Coronda, Esperanza, Santa Fe, Rosario and Villa Constitución also participated, presenting their own attractions; and the festivals, festivals and cultural offerings of the Santa Fe municipalities were highlighted.
Winter in Santa Fe
The aim of the official proposal is to promote the province's tourist corridors, with the collaboration of tourist agencies, chambers, tourist federations and municipalities, as well as organisations such as the Rosario Tourist Board and that of the city of Santa Fe.
The initiative highlights more than 40 tourism products offered by agencies in the region, promoting Santa Fe as an ideal destination for winter holidays.
