With the aim of establishing Rosario International Airport (AIR) as a key logistics and transport hub for the province’s development, the Government of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Productive Development, is expanding the range of flights available for the winter holidays with new airlines, more frequent services and new destinations. The schedule strengthens Santa Fe’s connections with various destinations across Argentina, the Americas and soon, Europe.
In this context, the inclusion of Arajet in the regular flight schedule, alongside the expansion of operations by Copa Airlines, Latam, GOL and Aerolíneas Argentinas, broadens the options available to passengers and consolidates Rosario’s position as a gateway to and from the world from the country’s interior.
The Provincial Minister for Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini, emphasised that “every new flight and every new destination represents more opportunities for Santa Fe”. In this regard, he stressed: “Restoring and strengthening air connectivity was a strategic decision by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro’s administration, because it means boosting tourism, enhancing production, facilitating business and bringing our province closer to the world. Today, the airport is becoming a key player in the region’s economic and logistical development.”
Domestic destinations
Throughout July, Aerolíneas Argentinas will maintain its scheduled flights to Aeroparque, Ezeiza and Salta. In addition to this timetable, there will be seasonal services to Bariloche, Puerto Iguazú and Chapelco, strengthening connections to three of the country’s most popular tourist destinations during the winter break.
International destinations
AIR’s international network continues to expand, offering direct access to some of the continent’s main aviation hubs and, from there, connections to hundreds of destinations across the Americas and Europe.
Arajet will operate three weekly flights between Rosario and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) throughout July. From its hub, it offers connections to Miami, Newark, Orlando Sanford, Cancún, Santo Domingo and other destinations in the region.
Meanwhile, Copa Airlines will operate 13 weekly flights to Panama, one of the main hubs in the Americas, with access to destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Latin America.
From July, Latam Airlines will increase its flights between Rosario and Lima from three to five weekly services, strengthening connections to the Caribbean, North America and other cities across the continent. It will also maintain four weekly flights to São Paulo, from where it offers an extensive network of destinations within Brazil, the Americas and Europe.
GOL Linhas Aéreas will continue to operate three direct weekly flights between Rosario and Rio de Janeiro.
Graduation trips return
As is the case every winter, July will also mark the start of one of the most distinctive events on the airport calendar: graduation trips to Bariloche. During the season, two tour operators will use the services of Andes Líneas Aéreas and Aerolíneas Argentinas to transport, across 70 flights, around 7,000 fifth-year students from Rosario and the wider region.
Strengthening strategic routes
The expansion of connectivity at Rosario International Airport will continue over the coming months with the strengthening of strategic routes.
Aerolíneas Argentinas will increase the number of flights to Buenos Aires from 12 to 20, improving connection options from Aeroparque. In October, World2Fly will begin operating two direct flights a week between Rosario and Madrid, introducing a historic connection that will significantly expand the region’s direct access to Europe.
Furthermore, wholesale travel agencies are marketing special flights to attend the São Paulo Formula 1 Grand Prix, which will operate between 5 and 9 November.
Looking ahead to the coming summer season, OLA Mayorista has put a weekly direct flight to Maceió on sale, with departures on Saturdays throughout January and February 2027.
