Santa Fe to Showcase Excellence: Four Representatives Selected to Compete at the 2025 World Cheese Awards

Minister Puccini stated that this international participation reflects Governor Maximiliano Pullaro's support for the entire dairy industry.

Between 13 and 15 November, the city of Bern, Switzerland, will host the World Cheese Awards 2025, the most recognised international competition in the dairy sector. There, four representatives from Santa Fe will compete in a showcase of production excellence that brings together more than 4,000 varieties of cheese from more than 40 countries, evaluated by experts, merchants, buyers and food critics from around the world.

The companies Cassini y Cesaratto S.A., Frutos del Campo S.A., Milkaut Grupo Savencia and the Centro Agrotécnico Regional (CAR) in Venado Tuerto will present 40 varieties of cheese made from cow's, goat's and sheep's milk, in a showcase of innovation, diversity and quality with the Santa Fe seal of approval.

"Santa Fe does not only produce food: it produces quality, identity and future. This international participation is the result of a policy led by our governor Maximiliano Pullaro, who supports every link in the dairy chain, strengthening competitiveness and projecting our industries to the world," said Minister of Productive Development Gustavo Puccini.

A global showcase for Santa Fe quality

The World Cheese Awards is an international visibility platform that sets the agenda for quality, innovation and trends in the dairy sector. For three days, producers, master cheesemakers, distributors and specialists will gather in Bern to evaluate, reward and celebrate the diversity of cheese around the world.

"Participating means validating production processes, demonstrating technical excellence and positioning Santa Fe as a province capable of competing at the highest global standards," explained Dairy Director Carlos De Lorenzi.

The involvement of the Venado Tuerto Regional Agrotechnical Centre reinforces the province's commitment to technical training and productive roots. "The CAR represents the link between education, territory and quality. The fact that an educational institution is competing at this level speaks to the potential and value of training for production," added De Lorenzi.

A public policy that links territory and the world

Santa Fe's presence at the World Cheese Awards is the result of sustained work between the public and private sectors, with a focus on adding value, strengthening technical capacities and increasing dairy exports. The Government of Santa Fe is promoting a comprehensive strategy that links production, training, innovation and marketing, with the aim of consolidating the province as a national and international benchmark for foods with territorial identity.

"Competing at this level involves much more than just sending products: it involves showing who we are, how we work and what values we defend as a province. The Santa Fe dairy chain is ready to be among the best in the world," concluded Puccini.
