Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, together with Deputy Governor Gisela Scaglia, presented the launch of the Registry of Legal Entities, Companies and Contracts (Rpjec), a body that has been operating throughout the province since 25 August and seeks to modernise and simplify procedures related to companies, associations and contracts.
The initiative unifies the five public registers of commerce that used to depend on the Judiciary and the General Inspectorate of Legal Entities, now under the Executive Branch, which allows centralising, standardising and digitalising procedures.
During the ceremony, Pullaro recalled that, from the beginning of his administration, he was clear that he could not have "the excuse that there was not enough time to make the transformations that the State needs". He added: "That's why, in the first year of our administration, we seemed to be in a hurry to make all the changes we had to carry out in order to have an efficient state in line with the times the world and Argentina are living in. We felt that we needed a transformation process that would allow us to use all the technological tools to bring the state closer to the people. The challenge was to be innovative, creative and efficient.
He stated: "Our aim is to develop a State that is accessible to Santa Fe society and able to provide solutions. Technological and digital tools make it possible to reach every resident of the province. We seek to demonstrate improvements in cost efficiency within the State and offer effective responses to citizens across the province."
In his turn, the secretary of the Rpjec, Roberto Ryan, pointed out that "for 52 years, in our province, to set up a company you had to go through two different procedures in two different departments. Today this government is daring to make a reform. On 25 August this body began operating, which represents a real institutional transformation in our province. And he concluded: "It focuses on simplification, bureaucratisation and, above all, predictability, so that all companies can dedicate themselves to producing and not to carrying out formalities".
The activity was held in the White Hall of the Government headquarters in Rosario, with the presence of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Clara García; the Minister of Economy, Pablo Olivares; the Secretary of Technologies for Management, Ignacio Tabares; the Secretary of Public Management, Natalia Galano; the Secretary of Provincial Registries, Matías Figueroa Escauriza; as well as representatives of professional associations, the Rosario Stock Exchange and the Association of Business Leaders of Santa Fe (ADE), among other authorities.
Registry of Legal Entities, Companies and Contracts
Since 25 August, all the procedures that were previously carried out in any of the registers have been managed in a unified way in this agency, which speeds up deadlines, eliminates duplications -such as double registration for corporations- and improves customer service.
The Rpjec is the first 100% digital agency in the province for business and legal entity procedures, with more than a hundred procedures available, including the registration of companies, the filing of balance sheets and the signing of business books. In addition, all documentation, computer systems and databases are being transferred to the new structure.
