Pullaro: “The productive interior has a significant role in Argentina’s future.”

In Río Cuarto, the governor of Santa Fe, together with his peers Llaryora, Valdés and Sadir, took a stance on the national context.

"Argentina is not going backwards. Kirchnerism is not the alternative, and the current model can be overcome by working on what was done correctly: taking care of fiscal balance and public spending," Pullaro said.

In the framework of the Rural Exhibition of Río Cuarto, the governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, took part this Friday in a meeting that brought together Martín Llaryora from Córdoba, Gustavo Valdés from Cordoba and Carlos Sadir from Jujuy, as well as the leader Juan Schiaretti, candidate for national deputy of the Provincias Unidas (United Provinces) in Córdoba. Ignacio Torres (Chubut) and Claudio Vidal (Santa Cruz) are also part of the front.

Pullaro said that Provincias Unidas is not defined by ideologies, but as a political management front aimed at solving the problems of citizens from a productive agenda. "We unite behind the countryside, industry, ports, airports, lithium, oil and gas. The provinces of the productive interior have all of this and we want it to be the driving force of the Argentina of the future," he said.

The governor remarked that the space seeks to consolidate itself as an alternative to models that, according to him, have failed in the recent history of the country. "Argentina is not going backwards. Kirchnerism is not the alternative and the current model of President Javier Milei is overcome by working on what was done correctly: care for fiscal balance and public spending," said Pullaro.

During his speech, he emphasised the need to build a solid parliamentary force, which functions as the first minority in Congress and represents work, production and federalism. "We are going to propose a government project that looks forward, that defends the productive provinces and that puts sanity and sensitivity in the Argentine Republic," he said.

Pullaro also highlighted the historical contribution of the interior to national development and the urgency of that contribution being recognised. "Our goal is for the productive interior to be able to govern Argentina. The provinces of the interior always gave more to the country than they received. Today we have the opportunity to generate employment and economic growth from those who know how to manage resources well," he stressed.
