Santa Fe has reinforced its status as a green finance leader by investing more than $1.5 billion in sustainable initiatives

Leader in energy conversion, fostering the with 81% of the quota completed, the Province strengthens its position as a development of local industry and promoting equitable access to green finance across the region.

Santa Fe is recognized for its focus on energy efficiency, clean energy, and growth practices.

Santa Fe is deepening its commitment to the sustainable model, positioning itself as a key player in the national energy transformation. Through tools promoted by the Ministry of Productive Development, headed by Gustavo Puccini, 51 initiatives were financed for a historical total of more than $1,510 million, present in 23 municipalities. This investment helps to reduce energy consumption, boost productivity and promote territorial development.

The Secretariat of Energy is carrying out a comprehensive strategy that combines inclusive public policies, innovative financial instruments and strategic alliances with banking institutions, positioning Santa Fe as a benchmark in energy efficiency, clean energy and responsible growth.

The head of Energy, Verónica Geese, remarked that "energy is one of the most decisive factors if we seek a more competitive and robust productive system. That is why we must invest in energy efficiency and renewable energies, fulfilling the dual function of lowering economic and environmental costs.

Along the same lines, the Undersecretary of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Cecilia Mijich, stressed that "from day one, the Ministry has prioritised making financial tools available to the people of Santa Fe that allow them to advance in the generation of their own energy using clean sources, developing the renewable energy economic sector and facing the climate crisis with a strategic view".

Two key financing options are especially notable among the available tools:
Santa Fe Activa - Sustainable Line: allows access to up to $50 million per project in collaboration with Banco Nación, Banco Santa Fe and Banco Municipal de Rosario.

CFI - Green Financing Line: with a quota increased to $2 billion, it grants amounts of up to $150 million per project, oriented to energy efficiency and clean energy.

The active lines benefit SMEs, micro-enterprises, self-employed workers and employees, with initiatives in productive, agricultural and commercial sectors. In addition, the government provides technical advice and subsidised rates to ensure that the financing reaches every corner of Santa Fe.

Financial sector commitment is essential

Public banks are positioned as strategic allies in this policy of sustainable growth.
