The commissioning of the five new gas pipelines, strategic works for productive development and roots, is completed

The first stages of three gas pipelines that make up the Gas Pipelines for Development Plan were presented this week. The other two were confirmed weeks ago by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro.

The five works are part of a larger project of 610 kilometres distributed in 6 pipelines that will benefit more than 120,000 inhabitants.

Within the framework of the Gas Pipeline Plan for Development, the government of the Province of Santa Fe awarded three new energy infrastructure projects that consolidate a historic investment for the productive interior. This Friday will be signed the awarding of the Gas Pipeline Provincial Route 14 - 17s (section that connects Fuentes, Coronel Arnold, Muñoz, Arminda and Villa Mugueta). On Tuesday the same was done with the Sudoeste Lechero Gas Pipeline (section that connects San Guillermo, Villa Trinidad and Arrufó) and on Saturday with the one corresponding to the Route N°34 (the section that connects Luis Palacios and Lucio V. López).

Sustainability and equity

The five works are part of a wider project of 610 kilometres distributed in 6 gas pipelines -5 executed by the Government of Santa Fe and 1 by Litoral Gas-, with an investment of more than 196 billion pesos, which will benefit more than 120,000 inhabitants, 250 industries and 45 localities. These works will be distributed throughout the province, in a bid to reduce asymmetries and generate the necessary conditions for rooting, production and employment.

The implementation of these projects reflects a vision of the future based on sustainability and equity. "By prioritising works that reach both urban and rural areas, we promote a balanced development that reduces inequalities and strengthens the social fabric. Gas pipelines are not just infrastructure; they are a commitment to a more prosperous and connected future for all the inhabitants of Santa Fe", said Rodolfo Giacosa, president of Enerfe.

Provincial Route 20: connecting communities

The Ruta Provincial 20 gas pipeline, with an investment of 7,830 million pesos, will reach more than 19,000 inhabitants of towns in the Belgrano and San Martín departments, such as Tortugas, Montes de Oca, Bouquet and María Susana. The work will be carried out by the joint venture Peitel SA-Rovial SAl.

In this case, the first stage involves an investment of 8 billion pesos, 5 localities (Berabevú, Chañar Ladeado, Los Quirquinchos, Godeken and Cañada del Ucle), 14500 inhabitants and 29 companies.

Iriondo Department: energy for the productive corridor

The first stage of the Ruta N°34 gas pipeline will connect the localities of Luis Palacios and Lucio V. López and will generate improvements in the service of a total of 11 localities of the Iriondo Department. In total, this action will improve the gas supply to 45 thousand people and 88 companies in the region. A total of 15,100 metres of new pipes will be laid, representing an investment of more than 7,660 million pesos.

San Cristóbal Department: development for Santa Fe's northwest

In the department of San Cristóbal, the first stage of the Southwest Dairy Gas Pipeline will connect the localities of Arrufó, Villa Trinidad and San Guillermo, generating benefits also to the neighbouring Colonia Rosa and Suardi. This work of 7400 million pesos will improve the supply to 24,600 inhabitants of Santa Fe and will reach 55 companies in the area. The new pipeline is planned in one of the most important dairy areas of the country and will have an immediate impact on regional production.

Department of San Lorenzo: more opportunities for the south of Santa Fe

In the south of the province, the gas pipeline that will include the town of Fuentes is part of the corridor on Provincial Route 14 - 17s, which also includes Coronel Arnold, Arminda, Muñoz and Villa Mugueta.
