Santa Fe continues hosting important national and international events. In this case, it is hosting a major tourism event for the first time in its history. "The holding of Fiexpo in Santa Fe, something that has never been done before, opens the doors to new business opportunities and positions the province as a key destination for international events, underlining the transformative value of tourism in the local economy," said the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini.
The governor of the province of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, received the Latin American delegation at the Rosario Stock Exchange, highlighting the relevance of this event for the region. "We are positioning our province as a tourist destination for events and meetings, so that the whole country and the world can enjoy every corner of the Invincible province of Santa Fe", said Pullaro.
The vice-governor, Gisela Scaglia, welcomed the participants at the Santafesino Sports Museum, an emblematic place that highlights the sporting identity of the province. The Minister of Education, José Goity, joined the business rounds and the dialogue, reaffirming the commitment of his portfolio with the development of the region and its participation in this key event for the tourism and meetings sector that takes place until April 3rd.
Strategic relevance
During the opening of the international forum, Puccini highlighted the importance of this type of event for the province: "They can choose anywhere in the world, but they have choosen our province, the invincible Santa Fe, which is of immense value for us. Our governor, Maximiliano Pullaro, has set three fundamental pillars of management: security, education and production.
The Ministry of Productive Development, which I have the honour of leading, includes the Secretariat of Tourism, whose agenda has acquired strategic relevance. We know that tourism is one of the most important engines of growth and development for our province, and we understand that we have a huge opportunity to make the most of it".
Santa Fe currently ranks third in the international ranking of event venues, and its goal is to climb to second, and even first place: "This effort is backed by a solid articulation with the private sector. The State acts as a bridge, connecting all key players and facilitating the necessary cooperation to position Santa Fe as a leading destination for international events," said the authorities.
The Secretary of Tourism, Marcela Aeberhard, said: "From the Government of the Province of Santa Fe, we reaffirm our commitment to the private sector. We believe that this articulation is key to achieve a sustained economic growth and an integral development for our community".

During the first day, the ICCA Summit training was held at the Metropolitan Hall in Rosario. With the aim of establishing new commercial links within the meetings tourism sector, the business rounds were held at the Puerto Norte Convention Centre, a key event to strengthen commercial relations and promote exchanges between suppliers and buyers in the sector.
Arnaldo Nardone, director of FIEXPO Exhibitions Group, Maria Eugenia Oriani President of Pro Colombia Chapert ICCA Latin America, Leticia Serrano for ICCA Latin America and Caribbean, and Santiago Gonzalez Past president of ICCA Latin America and Caribbean, led the ICCA Sessions, a training aimed at local suppliers to strengthen and expand the meeting tourism industry in the region.
With the presence of more than 30 hosted buyers from Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Bolivia and Paraguay, this event reaffirms the strategy of the province of Santa Fe to consolidate its position as a leader in the meetings tourism sector, both nationally and internationally.
This Wednesday, April 2, a new ICCA training will be held in the city of Santa Fe from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Santa Fe Stock Exchange. During the day, there will be a visit to the emblematic Santa Fe Brewery. On this tour, participants will learn about the process of craft beer brewing, a beverage of the highest quality, while immersing themselves in a history that reflects the identity of the province. The Santa Fe Brewery Museum will be the place to discover this cultural legacy.
