The president of the Sauce Viejo Airport board of directors, Gisela Riuli, presented this Friday the proposal that this terminal offers for the winter holidays with the baptism flights, which will take place from Monday to Saturday between 11am and 5pm, with a duration of 20 minutes per flight.
The flight will allow "to observe the city of Santa Fe and its most relevant places and return through the island areas", explained Riuli, who said that those interested "have to send us a WhatsApp (+54 342 646-0051) or write us through Instagram of Sauce Viejo Airport (@aeropuertosv), we have a link where you can see the available days, because we already have a lot of reservations". These baptism flights will take place "during the two weeks of winter holidays, but the idea is to keep them over time because there was an excellent response".
"This trip will take place with an aircraft with four crew members, they are school flights," he continued. They are first class aircraft with the highest technology; it is a beautiful experience, it is something new, beautiful, and very enjoyable," and added that "the price is 135,000 pesos for three people, plus the port tax which is 2,540 pesos per person, and in this way they will be able to enjoy a trip flying over the most beautiful places in the city.
New flight to Buenos Aires Also, Riuli informed that from Monday 8 July Aerolíneas Argentinas will re-establish the frequency of two daily flights between Santa Fe and Buenos Aires, from Monday to Saturday; while "from October a third frequency will be added, with a flight at 16:00, which seems to us extremely relevant because we have many frequent passengers from the area and it is a requirement that the private sector has been asking us for".
Wide range of flights from Rosario It is worth noting that due to the increase in demand for the winter holidays, Rosario International Airport (AIR) announced that the companies Aerolíneas Argentinas, Copa Airlines and Gol Linhas Aéreas have adapted their offer, expanding their schedule.
In this sense, Aerolíneas Argentinas proposes its current schedule with connections to Aeroparque, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta and Bariloche. Also, since 2 July, flights to Chapelco were added with three weekly frequencies: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays; and a new connection to Bariloche was enabled on Saturdays, which will be added to the three existing frequencies. In addition, during October, the route Rosario - El Calafate (flights are already on sale) will be re-established on Thursdays and Sundays.
As for international frequencies, Copa Airlines maintains its connectivity with daily frequencies between Panama and Rosario and from Panama the company provides connections to more than 35 destinations in America.
Gol Linheas Aéreas connects Rosario with three regular frequencies to Rio de Janeiro. At the same time, the company has strengthened its Rio hub to facilitate connections with the north-east of Brazil throughout the year.
Student travel
With the beginning of July, the 5th year graduates' flights to Bariloche will be resumed. Thus, two student companies will carry out flights contracted exclusively to Aerolíneas Argentinas and Andes to transport more than 5 thousand students.
New international connectivity
Meanwhile, Latam announced that from 1 December it will start operations from AIR to Lima with three weekly frequencies on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights will depart from Jorge Chávez International Airport at 00:05 hours and land in Rosario at 06:10 hours. Return flights from AIR are scheduled for 07:35 hours, arriving at 10:00 hours in the Peruvian capital. From that terminal, passengers will be able to choose to make connections with the main cities in America and Madrid.
