PEROTTI: "WE WILL WORK ON A PEACE AND DIGNITY PROGRAMME FOR THE HUMBLEST, WITH A STRONG INVESTMENT IN DRINKING WATER, SEWERS AND POPULAR HOUSING: NO MORE shanty towns IN SANTA FE"

Governor Perotti assured this during the opening of the 138th regular session of the provincial Legislature.

PEROTTI: "WE WILL WORK ON A PEACE AND DIGNITY PROGRAMME FOR THE HUMBLEST, WITH A STRONG INVESTMENT IN DRINKING WATER, SEWERS AND POPULAR HOUSING: NO MORE shanty towns IN SANTA FE".

Excerpts from the governor’s speech on the Covid-19 Pandemic:

"The pandemic does not make us equal, it increases inequalities. It enhances deficiencies. That is why it shows an unfair and unbalanced society. In that inequality, the efforts of states should always have a protective look at those who need most and that is what we have done."

"Health numbers in terms of private, provincial and municipal public articulation are aimed at every Santafesino having their isolation bed and in case of needing one, a critical bed.

"I'm sure we will be stronger after the pandemic. It will leave us with the strength to conduct the economic concern where it should be, and with the experience to anticipate what may come. It is impossible to achieve it all without a present, strong and conscious state. Strong to lead the safety, education, justice of our citizens; conscious to adapt to the technological changes that come with automation, with artificial intelligence, and without neglecting the capital of our men and women"

"We will work on a programme of peace and dignity for the humblest. A programme that has to do with strong investment of drinking water, sewers, popular homes. No more shanty towns in Santa Fe. We will generate occupation, coordinate PROMEBA, a recently signed agreement in the area chaired by María Eugenia Bielsa, on water and sewers with Minister Katopodis, allocating important resources to overturn each of these popular neighbourhoods."
