The provincial government, through the Ministry of Production, supports and accompanies the 25 companies from Santa Fe that produce food and beverages that participate in the Sial Paris 2018, one of the most important fairs in the world in this field.

In this regard, the Executive Director of the Santa Fe Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade — Santa Fe Global — Débora Marini, who accompanied the delegation of provincial companies to Paris, said, "We have made economic and logistical support to the companies, both those who exhibit at booths and those who attend in terms of visitors. "

Among the participating companies were AFA, Jewell, Díaz y Forti SA, San Ignacio, Pop Company, Fideicomiso FAIM, Pampa Cheese, BLD, Paladini, Compañia Central Pampeana, Friar, Menudencias, Offal Exp, Rafaela Alimentos, Frigorífico Alberdi, Swift and Adecoagro. These companies expose their products at stands during the fair, engaging in interactions with the exclusively professional public that is characteristic of this fair, which constitutes the ideal occasion to meet more than 135,000 decision makers from all over the world and know the latest innovations and market trends.

SIAL Paris takes place every two years and it shows the dynamism of the food industry at national and international level, in a business framework. It also works as an observatory of world consumption trends, in line with the major challenges of the market.

The fair brings together all the fields of the sector distributed in different exhibition spaces: beverages, fruits and vegetables, sausages, diet products and food supplements, canned products, seafood, catering, in-food/pai ingredients and solutions for subcontracting, biological products, gourmet delicatessen, dairy products, frozen products, poultry, meat, bakery, pastries and sweets, delicatessen and wines, as well as international pavilions and from all regions of France.

In this edition, the fair began on October Saturday 20 and extended until Thursday 25.
