The governor of Santa Fe, Miguel Lifschitz, received this Thursday at the government headquarters in Rosario, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Patience Phumelele Gwala.

The Secretary of Institutional Affairs and Integration, Maria Julia Reyna, who participated in the meeting, said: "The meeting was very positive for the tradition of work and cooperation we have with South Africa. New lines and criteria were established to further deepen and strengthen agribusiness, as well as industrial issues and missions of South African businessmen participating in FIAR (International Food Fair) and Agroactiva next year. "

"We also want to organize a strategy to visit and develop opportunities for Santa Fe entrepreneurs in the Republic of South Africa, which is why the meeting has been very satisfactory," he concluded.

PATIENCE PHUMELELE GWALA
Born in the province of KwaZulu (South Africa), before joining the diplomatic service, she devoted herself to teaching. She was a teacher in secondary schools and trainer at the teacher training college in her native province. In 1999, after the closing of the faculty where she worked, she attended a diplomatic training course in Pretoria (South Africa) to assume as General Consul of her country in Hong Kong (China).

She has been the South African Ambassador to Argentina since February 13, 2017 and in April of the current year she was declared a guest of honor in San Juan, after touring the province.
