"At the beginning of the year the Argentine ambassador in Uruguay, Mario Barletta, visited me to convey the idea and the project that he was elaborating, i.e. to regain the Argentinian presence in this important exhibition in Uruguay. Then, I immediately assumed the commitment to accompany him because I have no doubt that small but great actions like these are building the link and the relationship between two brother countries," explained Lifschitz.
"We firmly believe in the Mercosur project, which needs to be revitalized every day and not only from the action of the federal authorities, but also by sub-national governments, by business entities and by the actors of the real economy", he remarked.
"And we made the commitment that next year, if this initiative is maintained, we are going to bring a more important delegation to know better the reality and the offer of exhibitors that this show has and to be able to accompany with the presence of producers and entrepreneurs from the Province of Santa Fe. We are very honoured to accompany you," stressed the governor.
Lifschitz also held a meeting with the mayor of Montevideo, Daniel Martínez, in which they talked about the realities of both countries and policies to fight against poverty.
EXPO PRADO 2018
The 113th International Exhibition of Livestock and International Agro Industrial and Commercial Show in Montevideo was carried out from the 5th to the 16th of September, where the agribusiness, the industry, the commerce, the art and the culture were present at the Rural premises of the Uruguayan capital. There were also awards for players, exhibition of machinery and products, contests, new technology, genetics, agribusiness, tradition, conferences, business, launches, gastronomy, live shows, music, children's attractions, didactic activities and nightlife.
