Rosario: Lifschitz participated in the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Lebanese Society

The Governor Miguel Lifschitz participated, in Rosario, of the dinner party for the 90th anniversary of the Lebanese Society.

"Lebanon is a fantastic country. Its capital is one of the most beautiful in the world, which treasures history and culture. It is the capital of coexistence, peace and tolerance. We have a lot to learn from the Lebanese people," said the governor.

"It is attractive to see so many young people who have their origins, their parents, grandparents or even their great-grandparents so far away, but they continue to congregate to maintain the traditions, dances and the so sophisticated culinary art of Lebanese society. There is something that is passed from generation to generation, in the blood and in the stories, which the institution holds. "

"In this city most of the families are from Italian, Spanish, Arab or Lebanese origin. We are always in some way gathering stories, culture and traditions to make a more vibrant, diverse and innovative Rosario”, concluded Lifschitz.

ATTENDEES
The dinner was attended by the President of the Lebanese Society, Nestor Hage; the consul of Syria, Jorge Fanos Abdelmalek; the Mayor of Rosario, Mónica Fein; Municipal authorities and members of the Syrian Lebanese community.
