Governor Miguel Lifschitz met on Tuesday, in Buenos Aires, with the president of Uruguay, Vazquez, who analysed the geopolitics of the region and coordinated strategies to "intensify the trade links" between the two states.

"We reviewed international and Latin American geopolitics and talked about the economic reality of Uruguay and Argentina, and the commercial exchange of that country with Santa Fe," said Lifschitz.

The governor also confirmed that before the end of the year, together with a group of Santa Fe entrepreneurs, will carry out a commercial mission to the neighboring country to try to intensify the commercial links".

Lifschitz recalled that there is a long-standing relationship with Uruguay's Frente Amplio and with Tabaré Vázquez, who is a very close friend of former governor Hermes Binner".

ATTENDEES
The meeting was carried out at Alvear Hotel and participated in it the minister of Economy of Uruguay, Danilo Astori, and the Uruguayan Ambassador to Argentina, Hector Lescano Fraschini.
