The Province of Santa Fe reinforces its twinning with the State of California

Governor Miguel Lifschitz received last Tuesday in Rosario, the Protocol visit of the Director of International Trade of the San Francisco City Hall (United States), Mark Chandler, in the framework of the collaboration and twinning agreement between Santa Fe and the State of California.

The meeting was carried out at the Governor’s office and also participated the president of the Fundación Nueva Generación Argentina (FNGA), Diego Sueiras, among others.

It should be recalled that, in November 2015, Santa Fe signed a twinning protocol between the province and that American state to promote strategies for mutual cooperation, institutional and commercial development, formal education and cultural exchange.

MARK CHANDLER
He is the director of the International Trade Office of the San Francisco City Hall. In addition, he is responsible for the international programs of the City of San Francisco, including exchange of innovation and technology, commercial missions, investment promotion, city twinnings, formation of diplomatic and global political relations.

He also coordinated more than 30 overseas missions to diverse locations such as Mexico, China, India, France, Israel, Vietnam, Ireland, Australia, Philippines, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, and Japan.

He is a member of the board of Directors of the San Francisco Global Trade Council and the Advisory Board of the International Business Department of San Francisco State University; he is also co-chair of the San Mateo High School Foundation. He has been awarded the "Jefferson" National prize. In June 2017, he was named "Diplomatic Citizen of the Year", by the World Trade Center of northern California.
