Lifschitz receives a delegation of Italian authorities and diplomats in Rosario

Lifschitz receives a delegation of Italian authorities and diplomats in Rosario

Governor Lifschitz received Wednesday a delegation of Italian authorities and diplomats who were in the city of Rosario having meetings with local entrepreneurs.

The delegation was headed by the Vice-Minister of Goods, Cultural Affairs and Tourism of the Italian Republic, Dorina Bianchi, who was accompanied by the representative of the Italian National Tourism Agency, Veronica Morello; the first economic and commercial attaché of the Italian Embassy in Argentina, Francesco Capecchi; and the General Consul of Italy in Rosario, Giuseppe D'Agosto.

Also participated in the meeting, carried out at the governor’s office, the Secretary of International Affairs and Integration, Maria Julia Reyna; the undersecretary of foreign trade, Carlos Braga; and the provincial director of tourism for the northern zone, Franco Arone, among others.

Apart from discussing the possibility of deepening cultural and commercial ties, the governor and vice-minister exchanged gifts, and after that Lifschitz was declared guest of honour.

Bianchi's stay in the city included a meeting with the local intendant, Mónica Fein, meetings with local entrepreneurs and visits to the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate.

DORINA BIANCHI
She has been appointed as vice- minister of State of the Ministry of Goods, Cultural Activities and Tourism since February 2016. She was born in Pisa (Tuscany) and lived in Crotone (Calabria). She graduated as medical surgeon and practiced the profession of Neuroradiology.

She began her political career in 2001, after being elected as member of parliament of the Republic (2001-2008) and she was senator from 2008 to 2013. She was consecrated again as a member in 2013. She served as Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies and was a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Constitutional Affairs, Social Affairs and the Permanent Commission for Children.

During her parliamentary activity she dealt with violence against women and children, medical care and civil unions. She has recently published the book "South: The other side of the medal."
