Officials of the Ministry of Production receive a trade mission from India

The Undersecretary of Foreign Trade of the province, Carlos Braga, and the Executive Director of Santa Fe Agency for Investments and International Trade “Santa Fe Global”, Debora Marini, received Indian entrepreneurs, who are in a commercial mission in Argentina.

The international delegation has representatives of the Indian Association of Solvent Extractors, which has 875 members, including 350 plants with an annual capacity of processing oilseeds of approximately 30 million tons.

During the meeting, which was held at the Rosario Stock Exchange, after the committee toured the port terminals linked to the activity, the officials could gave more information on the capabilities to increase supply to the market, with products with added value, such as oil, soybeans and fats.

At the end of the meeting, Braga noted, "We have achieved joint activities with the national, local governments, and the stock exchange, showing us in compact form with buyers of large companies who choose to make their purchases to Argentina".

Representatives of the Rosario Stock Exchange participated in the meeting, along with the National Undersecretary of Agricultural Markets, Jesún María Silveyra, who was accompanied by an official of that area, Rosario Martearena.

The international delegation was represented by the Chamber of Solvent Extractors Association of India (SEA); Company Dipak Vegetable Oil Industries Pvt Ltd. and of GGN International; Sunvin Group, Emami Agrotech Ltd and Liberty Oil Mills Ltd; Glencore India; Legumes Association of India; and the Argentine Consul in Mumbai.

AGENDA
The delegation visited the Argentine agro-industrial core,  in which also participated provincial officials.  They toured Renova plant in Timbúes, the Arbitral Chamber of Rosario, and the T6 plant in Puerto General San Martín.
