The study detailed 643 investment projects for more than 26 billion pesos between January and November last year. The category which received the greatest number of projects is manufacturing-68.6%-; followed by agriculture, livestock, forestry, hunting and fishing, with 20,7%; information and communications, 3.6%; trade, 2.3%; and construction, with a 0.9%. Investments in other areas complete the cake with a 3.9%.
On the other hand, taking in the money invested according to the branch of activity, the report reveals that the manufacturing industry leads the chart
with 37.5% and continues trade with the 26.7%; supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning with 21.4%; the construction with the 6.8%; Agriculture, livestock, forestry, hunting and fishing with the 3.5% to the category other occupies a 4.1%.
In addition, the study indicates the number of projects and the amounts taking into account the region of the province. Data specified that in Region 1 (Reconquista Node) 86 projects were generated for a total of $1.083.336.979; in Region 2 (Rafaela Node) 78 projects for a total of $ 1.152.236.071; in Region 3 (Santa Fe Node) 124 projects for a total of $2.060.728.850; in Region 4 (Rosario Node) 294 projects for a total of $21.013.053.843; and in Region 5 (Venado Tuerto Node) 61 projects for a total of $ 709.581.508.
The activity was headed by the President of "Santa Fe Global" and Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Carlos Braga, who emphasized the studies achieved by the technical teams that "indicate that Santa Fe exports experienced a growth of 2.36%in the first ten months of 2016, compared to the same period in 2015, ".
"While we can make an analysis of those numbers and say that we are doing well, it is also true that there is an SME sector that still has not taken off. We must work hard and have much more incidence of SMEs in exports. "The objective of the Agency and of the Ministry is to achieve that many SMEs of the province can increase exports and are inserted in markets strategically important", added Braga.
