Santa Fe continues strengthening bonds with Italy

In Rosario, the Lieutenant Governor of Santa Fe, Carlos Fascendini, received a Protocol visit of an Italian delegation headed by the Italian Ambassador in Argentina, Teresa Castaldo; and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Vincenzo Amendola.

"The meeting was held in the context of visits that the delegation carried out to the national government and to different provinces to continue the existing cooperation agreements and the possibility of new bonds, which Santa Fe already has, but we are willing to enhance", explained Fascendini.

On the ocassion the Lieutenant Governor informed the visitors about the two recent trade missions carried out by Santa Fe to Italy, the first led by Fascendini himself, during which the province signed a bilateral agreement with the Regional Council of Friuli - Venezia Giulia.  The second and most recent visit was a technical and commercial mission organized and led by the Ministry of Production and the local Italian Chamber of Commerce to link SMEs from the dairy industry with the same sector in this European country.

In the meeting, which took place at the office of the Lieutenant Governor in the local seat of Government, participated, also, the Director of International Cooperation and Integration, Cecilia Vanadía; the General Consul of Italy, Giuseppe D' Agosto; and the counselors Bellantone Domenico, Martín Lorenzini and Fabio Porta, among others.
