Santa Fe at SIAL Paris International Food Exhibition

The Ministry of Production accompanied 19 companies from Santa Fe in the event developed between October 16 and 20 in the capital of France.

The province of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Production, had an important participation in SIAL Paris, recognized international food exhibition that was developed in the French city and gathered seven thousand companies from more than 100 countries.

In the exhibition, which took place from 16 to 20 October, the production portfolio accompanied 19 provincial companies from the diary sector, slaughterhouses and nutritional products.

In this regard, the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources, Marcelo Bargellini, who formed part of the delegation, said, "In the fair-that is the biggest event of the food sector in the world- Santa Fe had its own stand and an important institutional presence." This commitment was made in order to show companies that offer products with added value, which do not have a consolidated international presence, so we are seeking to create a space for our entrepreneurs and potential customers from all over the world".

"Also, next to the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, we could detect what type of products is offered and its demand worldwide and how innovative products are presented in each category." It was a very enriching experience and we have been able to bring a lot of material to share with our businessmen and industrialists", concluded the official.

The exhibition is held every two years and highlights the dynamism of the industry in the national e international scope in a frame of business. It is also the global event which shows the trends in consumption, according to the big challenges of the market.

The fair brings together all the sectors divided into different exhibition spaces: beverages, fruits and vegetables, sausages, dietetic products and food supplements, preserves, sea products, catering, in-food/pai ingredients & solutions, biological products, gourmet, dairy products, frozen products, poultry and hunting, meat, bakery, confectionery and sweets, delicatessen and wines, as well as international pavilions and others corresponding to all the regions in France.

This fair is an essential space to discover products, as well as the world news and regions regarding the food category.
