The province signs a cooperation agreement with the Rosario Foundation for International Democracy.

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Julio Genesini, signed an agreement with the Director of the Rosario Foundation for International Democracy, Marina Sala. It is aimed at mutual cooperation in research, technological developments and also for the organization of courses, conferences and activities around topics related to the promotion of decent working conditions; registered work and the prevention of work fraud; equality of treatment and opportunities and the promotion of safe and healthy conditions at work, among others.

During the ceremony, at the headquarters of the Foundation, the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Julio Genesini, stressed the importance of the agreement: "It is part of the Decent Work Agenda and one of its articles establishes the Elimination of Forced labour and all forms of modern slavery; other items generate decent work conditions. "It is important to articulate actions with this institution, which also has among its concerns, the fact that everyone can have a decent work".

"The objective is to build a better society based on decent work because it is very important-continued the Minister-, since it strengthens the possibility of carrying forward actions next to organizations of the civil society, empowering provincial public policies and opening  a horizon of work and of projection".

The Director of the Foundation for International Democracy, Marina Sala, said:  “The agreement is the starting point of joint work to promote the objectives that both the Foundation and the Government of the province are already carrying out".

'Santa Fe has been innovative and is a pioneer in public policies related to the improvement of working conditions, the formalization of the unregistered work, and these are axes that we share, which we hope are the first step of joint work as we can make them real by means of projects and ideas to achieve those objectives' ,  Sala said.

After the event, Gampiero conducted a tour around the institution, located in the historical building of the Fuentes Palace in Rosario (located in the corner of Santa Fe and Sarmiento), space in which the International Democracy Museum is under construction; the opening is expected to be in 2017.
